I have a 2016 GLS 450 and this message popped up when I turned my car on. It would not go into reverse or drive. I turned it off and waited 1 min but the message stayed on the screen. Turned it back on and same problem. Called Mercedes and they said I need a tow truck and they set one up. I turned off car and left it off for 5 min. Turned car on again and message was gone and I could put in reverse and drive. Check engine light remained on however. I drove home and plan on taking it in for service tomorrow. Any ideas?
